Circle K is a confirmed member of the Convenience Industry Council of Canada (CICC), the trade group that advocated for Ontario's alcohol retail deregulation. Circle K directly benefited from the policy change, rolling out beer, cider, wine and ready-to-drink alcohol sales at roughly 600 of its Ontario locations starting September 5, 2024, when the province ended the Beer Store's near-monopoly on off-site alcohol retail.
