Students at Citi College of Canadian Careers received OSAP funding until the ministry disqualified them, along with students at four Academy of Learning locations, from OSAP loans for the coming year (CTV News/The Canadian Press, July 16, 2026). Its director said then that Citi "would not rule out any legal remedies"; The Trillium reported on October 6, 2026 that Citi College has filed a court case to overturn the decision. No allegations about Citi College specifically have been detailed publicly, and, as The Trillium notes, none of the allegations in the court filings have been proven, "nor have the institutions been accused publicly of criminal action."
