Ontario Line Hits $34 Billion — More Than Triple the Original Budget
The Ontario Line's budget has reached approximately $34 billion — more than triple the $10.9 billion figure announced in 2019 — and completion has slipped from "as early as 2027" to the early 2030s. Metrolinx CEO Michael Lindsay says the budget remains "under pressure."
