£52.5B ($92B) in bets handled by Bet365 in FY2017-18
Bet365 was one of three offshore internet-gambling operators (with GVS and Microgaming Systems) represented by the Canadian Online Gaming Alliance (COGA), a lobbying umbrella group set up by Troy Ross and registered lobbyist Patrick Harris of Rubicon Strategy Inc., which lobbied the Premier's office and the offices of the Finance Minister and Attorney-General for a competitive private online gambling market in Ontario ahead of the province's iGaming launch. COGA did not initially disclose the foreign companies behind it on lobbying registrations as required by law.
