$4.8M from PC party since 2022; ~$2.2M in taxpayer funds 2022-25
Creative Currency, run by Dennis Matthews, produced Ontario government and Ontario PC party advertising -- including the province's public accounts show it was paid nearly $2.2 million in taxpayer funds from 2022-23 to 2024-25 (cabinet office and PC Caucus Services), while the Ontario PC Party paid the firm over $4.8 million since 2022 per Elections Ontario filings. The firm also produced the controversial taxpayer-funded 'Reagan' anti-tariff ad that derailed Canada-U.S. trade talks after President Trump called it a 'hostile act.' Matthews' spouse is the sister of PC campaign manager Kory Teneycke's spouse.
