Awarded grants from most rounds of the SDF, including over $2.6 million combined from rounds four and five. According to Ministry of Labour records disclosed through freedom of information and reported by The Trillium (Sept. 17, 2026), it was among recipients of third-round SDF grants that had not submitted reports before receiving subsequent funding. The records do not explain why. The labour minister's office says the ministry checked in on recipients in other ways and that some eventually delivered their results; spokesperson Michel Figueredo said every agreement includes "mandatory activity reports, strict financial controls, including third-party audits." No wrongdoing is alleged against the recipient.
