Beneficiary

$55,199 to PC Party + $150,000 to Ontario Proud (combined developer group)

Paradise Developments was one of the landowners/developers (alongside Fieldgate Developments, Mattamy Homes, Brookvalley Project Management, Laurier Homes and The Conservatory Group) that benefited from an MZO issued by Municipal Affairs Minister Steve Clark on July 7, 2020, approving Mayfield West Phase 2 Stage 2, a ~4,551-home residential development in Caledon, Ontario. A National Observer investigation found the developer group behind this MZO donated a combined $55,199 to the Ontario PC Party and $150,000 to the third-party group Ontario Proud between 2018-2020; of the Ontario Proud total, $50,000 came from Nashville Developments, a joint entity that includes Fieldgate Homes, Paradise Homes and TACC Developments.
