Lobbyist

Rubicon Strategy lobbyist Patrick Harris was registered to represent the Canadian Online Gaming Alliance (COGA), a lobbying umbrella for offshore internet-gambling firms Bet365, GVS and Microgaming Systems, pushing Ontario to open its internet-gambling market shortly before the province announced plans to end OLG's monopoly and create iGaming Ontario.

Lobbyist

$100M+

Rubicon Strategy, owned by Ford campaign manager Kory Teneycke, was hired by companies (e.g. FGF Brands, Ontario Shipyards) to lobby for Skills Development Fund applications; clients of the firm received over $100 million in SDF grants, nearly three times as much as clients of the next-most-successful lobbying firm, per Ontario auditor general and Trillium/Global News reporting.
